Georgina is a highly trained Soft Tissue Therapist. ‘Soft Tissue’ refers to all the structures within the body that is not bone. These include muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, skin and blood vessels. Soft Tissue therapy can help with the alleviation of tight muscles and stiff joints, sporting and non-sporting injuries, chronic and acute tension, as well as improving body flexibility, strength and wellness.
Using her skills in Myofascial Release, Dry Cupping, Dry Needling, and Muscle Energy techniques, Georgina will use a combination of these therapies to adapt each treatment to suit your specific concerns. Her tailored treatments work within your body’s limits to reduce pain and improve movement; giving effective, long-lasting results. All this has the additional benefit of improving your mental well-being too. Georgina isn’t your typical ‘rub down’ massage therapist, using her specialised techniques to rehabilitate soft tissue tensions and dysfunctions as needed.
Following her love of travel and watersports, Georgina has spent the past few years working around the world; in Greece with windsurfing and sailing professionals, in physiotherapy clinics in New Zealand, and hospitals in Sri Lanka and Nepal, gaining extensive experience treating a wide range of physical disorders.
