Further information on the techniques Ben uses:
Diversified chiropractic involves the assessment of the spinal and peripheral joints for loss of motion and signs of stress. This can be done with motion palpation and X-ray imaging to determine the points of maximum stress. Specific and quick adjustments are then applied to restore movement and over time, joint function. Diversified chiropractic is often characterised by an audible click sound which is painless and an indication the joint has been moved through its’ full range of motion.
The McTimoney method is distinguished by its gentle, whole body approach. It aims to correct the alignment of the bones of the spine and other joints of the body, to restore nerve function, to alleviate pain, and to promote natural health. The technique is suitable for the very young as well as the old and frail.
The EMMETT Technique is a unique form of body relaxation therapy involving the application of light finger pressure at specific points. It is based on the belief that light touch can trigger a relaxation response in the soft tissues of the body.
The relaxing nature of the technique results in people reporting typical responses such as:
- more restful sleep
- enhanced mood
- a sense of lightness within their body
- improved comfort and ease within the area treated such as back, abdomen, hips, legs, knees, ankles, feet, shoulders, arm, hands and neck.
Most people report an immediate and significant improvement with the problem that has been troubling them. Many people who previously had limitations on what they could do, find that they can perform these actions more easily after treatment.
