About Terry
Terry Graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxfordshire, where he completed his Masters's Degree. Terry has a passion for Chiropractic and gets great satisfaction from helping patients recover and rebuild and educating them on how to manage their spinal health going forward.
Terry has always been fascinated with the human body and understanding its inner workings. Through his own experience of chiropractic care, he observed the body's ability to heal itself when the nervous system is free from interference. He firmly believes that Chiropractic is much more than treating neck pain, back pain and headaches. To him, chiropractic is about allowing people to achieve their true potential in all areas of life by enabling the brain and body to communicate optimally. Terry gains true satisfaction by enabling his patients to live more fulfilled lives through chiropractic care.
Since a young age, Terry has been fixated on sports. He started competing internationally in karate at 13 and has won domestic and international competitions while representing England. As a 3rd Dan Black Belt, Terry continues to train, teach and compete alongside his work at the practice.
It was through Terry’s passion for karate that he found his passion for chiropractic; it positively impacted his health and helped him to compete without injury and at a higher level. Consequently, he decided to pursue a career in helping others.
Terry sees New Patients of any age.
Terry's Chiropractic Techniques
Motion Specific Technique
Terry's favoured technique is MST (Motion Specific Technique), which focuses on locating and correcting dysfunctional high-stress areas of the spine by returning natural motion through specific spinal adjustments. Terry has been using MST for many years, taking in-person training by the techniques creator, Dr Tim Young.
Diversified Technique
Terry often uses advanced, diversified techniques learned throughout many years of dedicated training, with a focus on the restoration of function within the spine and nervous system. Diversified is the most common Chiropractic technique and is effective at helping with a variety of symptoms.
